About Us
Bolling Tile Works and Pavers Plus is a family owned and operated business. It started as Mike and sons, Lee and Aaron, began installing floors in the new homes that their parent company, Bolling Development, was building. Bolling Tile Works was created in 2000. Since the beginning Mike, Lee, and Aaron have installed ceramic, granite, travertine, marble, slate, hardwood, and other hard surfaces on floors and countertops throughout south Mississippi.
As brick floors became more popular as a flooring design in the south, the company picked up on this business opportunity, and began installing brick pavers. In the beginning, they were buying the pavers from another supplier and providing only installation services. As the demand for the pavers increased, it became more difficult to get the pavers when needed. So, the company invested in a brick saw, ordered several pallets of bricks, and began cutting brick pavers from their shop.
The business became known as Bolling Tile & Pavers Plus at this time. The brick pavers supplied and installed by Bolling Tile & Pavers Plus are antique bricks, reclaimed from old buildings. The most popular brick used for pavers is the Old Chicago, but they can supply others such as Riverside, Old Carolina, St. Louis, etc. These old reclaimed bricks are shipped to their shop by the truck loads, and cut into pavers.
Bolling Tile & Pavers Plus offers a variety of styles of the pavers that can be installed for other indoor designs. The pavers can also be installed vertically, for a brick wall appearance, a brick backsplash in the kitchen, a fireplace surround, and even a faux chimney. They also offer installation in a variety of patterns such as: herringbone, basket weave, running bond, etc. The pavers are cut to a thickness that matches other common flooring materials such as; ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, & carpet. This provides a smooth transition from one flooring surface to another. Pavers can be installed inside or outside of the home, even on concrete porches and patios.
